Why do I see “Failed to load the store”

Your store will display an error message if there is an issue with your website. Let's explore the common causes of this problem.

Mandatory columns are missing

Your Google Sheet must include three mandatory columns: Name, Category, and Price. (They are commonly marked in black) These columns are essential for the store to function correctly as they provide basic information about each item in your inventory. If they don't exist, your store will fail to load.

There are more than 100 variants

Product variants are different variations of the same product. A single product can come in different sizes, colors, shapes or material.

If you add more than 100 product variants, your store will fail to load.

Google Sheet doesn't exist

You may have deleted your Google Sheet by accident. If the Google Sheet doesn't exist, your store will fail to load.

In this case, you will need to recreate the sheet and reconnect it to your store.
