# How to change the type of products I am selling?

Navigate to Settings > General.



Under Product Type, choose the type of product your store will be selling. Once
you've made this change, your store will update to reflect the new product type.






PHYSICAL PRODUCTS

This is best for selling tangible goods like clothing, accessories, home items,
or handmade crafts. It offers a standard store setup suitable for most use
cases.



Wholesale can be enabled if you sell in bulk. This type supports both grid-based
and list-style layouts. If you prefer a one-page, list-style view, you can
enable it from Design → Sections → All Products → Display style. This type also
includes additional features like minimum/maximum quantity fields, making it
ideal for bulk selling.


DIGITAL PRODUCTS

This is ideal for e-books, templates, software, music, or any downloadable
content. When selected, shipping-related options will be removed, as they are
not needed.


LISTING / CATALOG

This type is used to showcase products without a checkout flow. There is no cart
functionality, making it suitable for directories, listings, or display-only
stores.


SERVICES

This is designed for selling services such as consulting, coaching, or freelance
work, focusing on time and expertise rather than physical delivery.



Note



Changing the Product Type does not affect your product inventory data inside
Product Sheet.
